Beavers are 6 – 8 years old.

Beavers enjoy a fun and varied programme, which was recently updated. This update makes it more relevant to today’s young people, while keeping it exciting and full of traditional Beaver activities.

Beaver Scouts are no longer our youngest members!. They usually meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities.

They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers, which can now be in tents. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.

In Sale District we have 9 Beaver colonies and at the District level we organise a programme of events and take part in County wide events on a regular basis.

Due to our waiting lists and need for adult volunteers we can only accept joining enquiries for young people from the M33 post code area
