Tomahawk Throwing

Information and Specification

• 3 tripod stands
• 3 log targets
• 6 x 18” Norse tomahawks
• 6 x 11” Steel mini tomahawks

N.B. Equipment loan is restricted to Groups or Units within Sale District only, and must be collected / delivered by the leader who is borrowing it.

You will need to supply enough rope and stakes to mark out the boundary of the throwing area.

Please state which equipment you wish to borrow. Normally you will only require 2 tripods, 2 log targets and 6 hawks due to the limitations of supervising multiple groups of throwers

Booking Information

Permission must be sought from the District Commissioner to run tomahawk throwing. This equipment will only be loaned to Leaders who have attended the tomahawk throwing course. They will be solely responsible for running and supervising the activity. The District Commissioner reserves the right to inspect the location, setup and running of the activity without notice. The District Commissioner also reserves the right to deny approval to run the activity. You must familiarize yourself with all the documentation and procedures available here  and complete a risk assessment prior to collecting the equipment.

Note: If you are unable to scroll forward on the calendar to your chosen date, this means there are no forward reservations and you are clear to book.
