Explorer Units

Explorer Units provide Scouting for young people between the ages of 14 and 18.

An Explorer Unit has a Partnership Agreement with Scout Group and are based at a specific group’s hut. However, they are a District section and are not part of any group. As an Explorer Scout, you can also attend any of the unit meetings as they all do different activities.

Sale District has two Explorer Units, as per the map below, and we also have a Young Leaders Unit
